Marissa L. Melki
Marissa L. Melki obtained a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Pennsylvania State University in 2008 and a Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law – Camden in 2011. At Rutgers, Marissa was a legal intern for the Child & Family Law Advocacy Clinic and a legal extern for the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender.
Marissa has twelve years of experience representing insurance carriers in Personal Injury Protection (PIP) arbitrations and has handled over 1,500 PIP matters from inception through arbitration. She is experienced in handling PIP and coverage/policy rescission litigation files, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and settlements. She has previously been tasked with applying for and managing company trademarks, training interns and new hires in PIP, and gathering data regarding fraudulent billing practices of medical providers.
Marissa is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
